Priorities
For this project, we formed groups of two, starting from a research question that we developed based on two films we watched and analyzed.
From this, we formulated the research question:
"Why do people sometimes abandon priorities?"
We conducted research about priorities by using online surveys.
We aimed to make these surveys as inclusive as possible by involving various age groups and ethnicities.
Many of the results were similar, but there were also some unexpected answers.
For the final presentation, we started thinking about the best way to present this by addressing the question and showcasing the research.
For this purpose, we selected 18 specific individuals.
We sent them a questionnaire with the following questions:
How do you portray or see yourself next to your priorities?
2. What environment, place fits your thoughts about your priorities?
3. What is your most important priority and how do you see it portrayed?
4. What other priorities do you have?
5. When do you abandon priorities?
From this, we started creating a sketch for each person's priorities by going through the questions together and using a different color for each person. We switched iPads every 5 minutes.
This process thus forms a visual representation of an individual's priorities based on their answers, combined with our interpretations of those answers.
Furthermore, we personally asked a few individuals to record their answers in their native language.
This was so that we could present these recordings along with the drawing process
Even without understanding the language, we can deduce a person's priorities based on the visual representation.
